Highlights Of International Geneva Motor Show Held in March 2010

Auto shows are conducted at many different countries either twice a year or are conducted annually. Automotives or Debuts belonging to different manufacturers around the world are displayed in this auto shows.

Apart from the New York International Auto show, International Geneva Motor Show is also a famous one which is conducted annually. This auto show is conducted at Swiss city in Geneva. The venue for this famous show will be a convention center located near the Geneva Cointrin International Airport called Geneva Palexpo.

5 years later after the commencement of New York auto show, this show was started. It was started in 1905. At the time of commencement different vehicles like internal combustion engined models, benzene and steam powered cars, exotic super cars were displayed. Most of them are the debuts.

Here during this show, mostly three or four or more wheelers were displayed. In general, the areas which are covered in the show are Electric cars as well as the alternative powered cars, Accessories or parts of the cars, Converted car etc.

Coming to the 2010 International Geneva Motor Show which was conducted during the period 4-14 march 2010, about 80 introductions were done. Press preview days started from March 2 2010.

Coming to the production car introductions, many cars of different manufacturers were introduced in this show. Some of the cars which were introduced in this show are

Alfa Romeo Giulietta, 2011 Audi A1, 2011 Audi RS5, 2011 Bentley Continental Supersports Covertible, 2011 BMW 5 series, Carlsson Super GT C25, 2010 Dacia Duster, 2011 Ford C-Max, 2011 Ford Focus (European debut), Garia LSV (Low Speed Vehicle), 2011 Infiniti M35 Hybrid etc.

Coming to the concept of car introductions, different cars like Alfa Romeo 2uettottanta by Pininfarina, Alfa Romeo Pandion by Bertone, Audi A1 E-Tron, BMW Concept 5 series Active Hybrid, BMW Concept ActiveE (European debut), Chevrolet Aveo RS(Europeon Debut) etc.
